Use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and/or Mediation in solving payment disputes in B2B transactions

Milieu is pleased to be working upon a Study intended to identify measures to address the problem of late payments in business-to-business (B2B) transactions launched by the European Commission (DG GROW) and entrusted to a grouping of consulting firms led by Economisti Associati. One of the themes covered by the study is the possible use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and/or Mediation in solving payment disputes in B2B transactions.

As part of the evidence gathering effort for this theme, we have designed a targeted consultation, intended to collect information on the use of ADR/Mediation in B2B payment disputes and the barriers and triggers of such a use, as well as the views on possible measures to increase utilisation of ADR/Mediation.

If you are a professional active in ADR/Mediation, we would be grateful for your participation by 19 September 2021. The questionnaire can be found at: EUSurvey – Survey (europa.eu)
