Update of the FRA Anti-Muslim hatred database

Manifestations of xenophobic, racist hatred and violence targeting Muslims are on the rise in many Member States due to the arrival of migrants and asylum seekers in large numbers over the past years combined with terrorist attacks in several EU Member States. Therefore, there is a need for targeted and evidence-based responses at both EU and national levels. Data on the situation is currently scattered and often not publicly available for all involved in policy making.  The FRA anti-Muslim hatred database 2012-2017 aims to address this lacuna of information. The Milieu led Hungarian FRANET team aims to provide updated information for the database including statistical data and other data (e.g. research activities, organisations involved and case law) pertaining to anti-Muslim hatred.
