We are excited that, for the first time, Milieu will carry out a study for the European Defence Agency. The study will provide detailed information on the impact of five pieces of EU chemicals legislation [Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), Regulation on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs Regulation), Directive on Ozone Depleting Substances (ODSD), Regulation on fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-Gas Regulation), and the RoHS Directive] on the defence sector.
The objective of the study is to make recommendations with a view to a consistent approach in EU chemicals legislation concerning the defence sector while also avoiding undesired regulatory outcomes (e.g. regrettable substitution).
Together with our partner REACHLaw, Finland, we look forward to working with this new client.
