Research on the situation of fundamental rights in Hungary

The Hungarian FRANET team, managed by Milieu is currently carrying out research on the situation of fundamental rights in Hungary. Research findings will feed into the FRA’s Annual Fundamental Rights Report. Research activities extend to the following areas: equality and non-discrimination; racism, xenophobia and related intolerance; Roma integration; asylum, visas; migration, borders and integration; information society, data protection; rights of the child; access to justice including rights of crime victims; developments in the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Hungarian FRANET team is also preparing a background material for the FRA containing data and information on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights in Hungary. The information collected will also feed into the FRA’s Charterpedia database.
