Collection of national key enforcement judgments related to intellectual property rights for the EUIPO

Together with its partner Bournemouth University, Milieu is excited to work for the first time for the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The aim of this four year project is to help the EUIPO to expand and to consolidate its online database of the national key enforcement judgments in all EU Member States.

One of the main tasks entrusted to the EUIPO is to enhance knowledge of intellectual property rights’ (IPR) infringements in the Member States. Transparency about judgments on IPR enforcement is an essential pre-requisite for knowledge exchange across the single market. For this purpose the EUIPO started a collection of national key enforcement judgments available in their eSearch Case Law database.

Milieu will be supporting its partner in the overall management of the project and will be in particular responsible for the management of the work of the national experts by supervising the timely and quality delivery of the national case law reports.
