Panagiota Pavlou is a Greek national who re-joined Milieu as a legal Analyst (following a previous Erasmus traineeship at Milieu). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Athens and an LLM degree in Public Law and Public Policy, specialising in Environmental Law, from the University of Athens.

Panagiota has a specific interest in issues of environmental and energy legislation. She is familiar with Greek and European environmental law. She has also developed an interest in forestry law, while writing her master’s thesis on ‘Legal framework and case-law on afforestation’.

Prior to joining Milieu, Panagiota trained as a lawyer in Greece, specialised in matters of Civil, Administrative and Corporate Law and is a member of the Athens Bar Association. During her traineeship she was also involved in several cases concerning the law of contracts, especially for the participation of companies in tenders held by the public sector. In 2018 she joined the interdisciplinary team of WWF Hellas in Athens, where she had the chance to delve more into the Greek environmental legal framework, through the analysis of current case-studies and proposal solutions. She is fluent in Greek, English and German.
