Michela Gasperini is an Italian national, working as a Policy Analyst at Milieu. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from the University of Tor Vergata (Italy) and a Double Degree MSc in Economic Development and Growth from the Universities of Lund (Sweden) and Groningen (Netherlands).

During her academic career, she grew skills and knowledge related to international economics, econometrics, research and sustainable development. In 2019, she worked as an intern in a start-up based in Kigali (Rwanda), where she consulted on wide variety of topics including marketing strategies and e-learning platforms implementation. Between 2020 and 2022, she worked for the European Central Bank as a Solutions Analyst and dealt with, among other, the design, implementation and monitoring of new policies and frameworks, data analysis and visualisation, market research and benchmarking, management of system-wide projects, drafting of reports and memos, facilitation of workshops (incl. for high-level stakeholders). At Milieu, she has been involved in several projects with a particular focus on employment and social policies, labour mobility, and sustainability, such as the 2021 intra-EU mobility report, the access to Essential Services report and the cost-benefit analysis of the first set of European Sustainability Reporting Standards. Ms Gasperini is fluent in Italian and English and has an intermediate knowledge of French.
