Isa Vroom is from the Netherlands and started at Milieu in March 2022.

She holds a BSc and an MSc in Biology from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Her focus within these was on (marine) ecology and nature conservation.

She did a minor in nature conservation policy and Geo-Information Sciences. In 2017-2018, Ms Vroom worked full-time on educational and student policies in the Student Council of Wageningen University. She wrote a master thesis on Marine Protected Areas in the Greater North Sea, and she did an internship with a nature conservation NGO in Brussels where she developed tools for Marine Protected Area managers.

In Milieu, she is supporting the team that is working on the MSFD, as well as other marine and environmental policies. Ms Vroom is fluent in English and Dutch, an independent user of German and a basic user of French.
