Georgia Fili is a Greek national who joined Milieu in October 2024 as a legal trainee. She is a qualified lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association. She holds an LLM degree in Environmental Law from the University of Strasbourg and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Athens.
Prior to joining Milieu, Georgia worked at the Council of Europe within the Anti-Discrimination Department and the Secretariat of the Bern Convention for biodiversity protection and contributed to the Education for Sustainable Development project. She also gained valuable experience at a law firm in Athens, working on due diligence and transparency risk assessment projects related to banking and GDPR legal issues as well as handling procedure before the courts. She has published on the effectiveness of international environmental agreements, with her work appearing through IUCN.
