Fran Gallego Osorio is a Spanish national, working as a policy trainee at Milieu since November 2024. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the Universitat de Valencia and a Master’s degree in Policy Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics. During his academic studies he specialised in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, particularly in the areas of social economy (cooperativism), social justice, economic development and migration.
Prior to joining Milieu, Mr Gallego was a trainee at the Finnova foundation, where he obtained experience in European sustainable and cultural tourism promotion as well as in European cultural heritage, through related project work, including: the accelerator programme ‘Fu-tourism’, which provided funding and expertise to SME’s that wanted to transform their tourism practices in line with the “twin transition”; as well as the accelerator programme ‘CulturalDeTour’, which aimed at promoting collaboration and entrepreneurship in the cultural tourism sector.
Fran speaks Spanish, English and Catalan, with a basic understanding of French.
