We are proud to share the European Parliament’s latest publication, released on 24 October 2025: “Digitalisation, artificial intelligence and algorithmic management in the workplace: Shaping the Future of Work”, which we prepared together with Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini and HIVA (KU Leuven).
The study explores how algorithmic management (AM) is transforming employment relations and working conditions across Europe. It draws on stakeholder interviews and case studies from sectors such as logistics, healthcare, telecommunications, automotive, and manufacturing.
Milieu led the review of EU and national regulatory frameworks for the use of AM technologies in six Member States — Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden — identifying gaps and contributing to the development and assessment of policy options under the Cost of Non-Europe methodology.
