Milieu is proud to have contributed to the study led by t33 for the Committee of the Regions: “Access of Local and Regional Authorities to the EU Budget: Lessons from the MFF 2021-2027”.
The study examines the delivery mechanisms of EU funding programmes for the 2021-2027 period, with a focus on the extent to which the concerns and priorities of Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs) were considered during the preparation and negotiation of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2021-2027. It also offers forward-looking recommendations on how future EU funding programmes under the post-2027 MFF can become more inclusive and accessible for LRAs.
Milieu played a key role in the project by designing, launching, and analysing the LRA survey, a crucial evidence base for the study’s findings and recommendations.
