Till Eichler is a German national and joined Milieu as a Analyst in July 2022. Prior to joining Milieu, he worked for the Greens/EFA Coordinator of the Committee on Regional Development in the European Parliament and before that, for a Member of the German Bundestag, providing policy analysis and background research, and was responsible for campaign coordination and management of stakeholder relations.

He holds two undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Philosophy of Social Sciences from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and a master’s degree in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po Paris (France). In addition to international macroeconomics and trade, Till specialised in Environmental Policy and EU policymaking during his studies. From 2019-2020, he advised an environmental NGO on the multilateral climate finance landscape and executed an evaluative study on the transformational impact of international climate investment funds in South Africa.

Throughout his academic and professional career, he has built strong knowledge in the areas of European policy making and policy analysis with a specific focus on international public finances, including European Cohesion Policy, as well as European and international climate policy. He is trained in various research methods, including semi-structured interviews, qualitative content analysis and quantitative data visualisation and analysis.
