Sarah Fialon is a French lawyer working as a legal trainee at Milieu since November 2020. She graduated from the Grenoble Alpes University in Law and Languages (English and Spanish) and then went on to complete a Master’s degree in European and International Business Law at the University Paris-Dauphine. Her main areas of expertise include banking and finance law, international law, environmental law, and sustainable finance. Prior to joining Milieu, Sarah was a trainee-lawyer in the banking and finance team of Herbert Smith Freehills Paris LLP, where she dealt with financing and regulatory issues. Before that, she spent a year in the legal department of the Agence Française de Développement, the public financial institution which implements France’s policy on development and international solidarity. In 2018, she was a trainee at the European Commission in DG FISMA, in the unit responsible for the building of a capital market union, sustainable finance, and fintech. She speaks French, Spanish, and English fluently.
