Florence Limet is a French national, working as project coordinator at Milieu since January 2019. She holds a Master’s degree in European affairs from the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences-Po) in Paris, France. She has worked for the past 14 years in Brussels in different sectors ranging from European sectoral federations, to national and EU administration. Her main areas of expertise include EU policies related to energy and the environment. Prior to joining Milieu, she worked for several years at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Environment as a policy officer. In this capacity, she managed projects focusing on the environmental impacts of fossil fuels extraction as well as on the management of waste resulting from extractive industries. Previously, she gained professional experience in the fields of renewable energy as well as trade and development.
