Zrinjka Dolić is a Croatian and Australian national who joined Milieu as a Policy Trainee in November 2018. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management, specialising in policy design and implementation. Before joining Milieu, she spent one year working in the Better Regulation Directorate in the European Commission as a Trainee and Policy Assistant. She has in-depth experience in evaluations and impact assessments having contributed to the planning and conduct of major EU expenditure programmes and reviews of legislation in the areas of consumer law, internal security and migration, fundamental rights and the environment. Previously Ms. Dolić worked for several years in various roles as a Policy Officer in Australia at the State Government level, advising on issues to do with anti-corruption and policing.  She also has experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, focusing on questionnaire design, conducting interview-based surveys and analysis. Since joining Milieu, Zrinjka has produced a study on the effectiveness of European Union funding targeting gender-based violence and has contributed to the evaluation on the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in the area of access to justice in environmental matters, in addition to other projects on air quality, the circular economy and robots in healthcare.
