David Landais has joined Milieu in 2015 and is currently leading the Business Development, having previously worked as a Project & Bid Manager for technical assistance projects between 2008 and 2014 for “Suez Environnement” (former Safege). He holds an Engineering Degree in Water Sciences from Polytech’Montpellier (FR) and a MSc in Water Management from Cranfield University (UK).

David has more than ten years of experience in tendering procedures for various EU Institutions and International donors, such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the EU Agencies, the World Bank and others. Since 2008, David has been heavily involved in tenders and contract management for EU projects. He acquired sound knowledge of EU procurement, project management and financial procedures. David has a thorough knowledge of the management of EU Framework Contracts and he is involved in the preparation of Milieu’s answers to numerous requests for services.

David contributes as well to projects related to water management (such as: DG ENV – Service contract to support the implementation of the MSFD ; DG ENV – MS’ compliance with the Bathing Water Directive). In 2010, David worked in Djibouti as an expert on the EU-funded project “Technical Assistance to the National Water and Sanitation Office”.

He speaks French and English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
