Independent Consultants

Milieu is looking for independent consultants for short term assignments. We are currently carrying out a range of challenging projects for the European Commission and other public sector clients.  We are small but growing, informal but dedicated.

Milieu’s work focuses on areas of environment (water, waste, chemicals, and energy), sustainable development and fundamental rights. Experience in working on EU projects outside the EU and any experience in evaluating projects and programmes is an advantage.

We are interested in talking to independent consultants who would like to work on a short term basis as associates in some of our current and upcoming projects.

The candidates should have a strong EU law and policy or economics background or a technical background relevant to environmental protection or governance, with 5 to 10 years of previous experience.
