Associate Senior Policy Advisor
Robert Pederson holds bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Nutrition, and a Master's in Food Policy, with specialization in EU Food and Agricultural Policy. Mr Pederson has supported Milieu since 2015 where he has been involved in various complex multi-country studies providing policy expertise, quality assurance and project management expertise. He has contributed extensively to a study for DG ENV The strategy for a non-toxic environment of the 7th Environment Action Programme (EAP) and has provided quality assurance for multi-country projects Assessment of impact of storm water overflows from combined waste water collecting systems on water bodies (including the marine environment) in the 28 EU Member States for DG ENV and Safer and Healthier work at any age – Provision of services in respect of occupational safety and health (OSH) in the context of an ageing workforce for EU OSHA. Mr Pederson has 17 years of professional experience as a policy analyst and advisor and project management. He has advised a number of Civil Society organisations on EU food, agriculture and trade policy, both in Denmark and Brussels. Mr Pederson also has considerable experience in managing public-private partnerships and evaluating national programmes. Mr Pederson is also a research fellow at Aalborg University where his main focus is on EU Policy, Food Systems and Governance.
