From its establishment Milieu has been providing consultancy services in international development with the aim to contribute to support to good governance in transition and developing countries. Our approach to international development is based in our sound knowledge of legal and policy analysis combined with our deep insight of development policies. If the ultimate goal of development policies is to eliminate poverty, governance, i.e., the state’s ability to serve the citizens, is a key element for ensuring sustainable development.
Milieu’s team provides services along the entire cycle of programme development, from project identification and formulation to project implementation and evaluation.
Building good governance practices is not limited to transition and developing countries. Promoting transparency, accountability and public participation leads to better policies, regulations and delivery.
