Lise Oulès is a French national who joined Milieu as a policy intern in January 2013. Prior to Milieu, she worked as a trainee in the European Commission, DG MARE, where she contributed to the development of the Blue Growth strategy to support growth and employment in the maritime sector and, in particular, to the Blue Growth Communication published in September 2012. She also worked on the financial perspective supporting the Integrated Maritime Policy between 2014 and 2020, contributing to the preparatory work for the Partnership Contracts with Member States, especially for France.
Before the Commission, she worked in Ecorys, where she supported projects on: Cohesion policy and regional development for DG Regio, i.e. public consultation on the fifth Cohesion report; drivers for sustainable growth in the maritime sector for DG Mare; social issues for DG justice and Home affairs, i.e. children’s rights and protection; evaluation of ESF funds for DG Employment.
Lise holds a Master’s degree from the Institute of Political Studies of Lille, specialising in European Affairs.
