Harriet Bradley is British national who has been working as a Policy Researcher at Milieu Ltd since April 2016. She holds an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London (UCL), with a focus on international environmental and economic policy. Her final thesis analysed the EU’s 2013 reform of its Common Agricultural Policy in the United Kingdom, according to its projected impact on food security and environmental, social and economic sustainability. At Milieu she is currently working on Soilcare, a Horizon 2020 project, involving research into policies concerning the adoption of sustainable and profitable soil management in European agriculture. She has also been involved in a statistical project on intra-EU mobility for DG Employment, and a report on the strategy for a non-toxic environment of the 7th Environmental Action Programme for DG Environment. Harriet is also trained in advanced qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods. She has applied a series of evaluation methods such as semi-structured interviews, documentary analysis and case studies. Prior to joining Milieu, Harriet worked as a research assistant at UCL, on loss and damage associated with the impacts of climate change, for which she attended relevant UNFCCC meetings and interviewed negotiators, NGOs and academics.
