Support to final review/elaboration of the draft EEA report Updated High Nature Value farmland in Europe - an estimate of the distribution patterns on the basis of CORINE Land Cover 2006 and biodiversity data
The integration of environmental considerations, including protection of biodiversity, is among the key issues for the revision of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
To support EU policy discussions, the European Environment Agency has carried out a range of assessments on the interactions between agriculture and environment in the EU. Among these, EEA has updated its analysis of existing high-nature value farmland in the EU.
This project supported EEA’s preparation of a new report on high-nature value farmland, including editorial assistance as well as peer reviews.
Milieu Ltd provided senior expertise for a review of the comments provided by EEA member country governments and experts in the consultation on the draft report. Milieu’s work was used by other project experts for the revised publication.
